2. SPECIAL HOOK
This is made of a length of fine black wire, bent as shown in Fig. 2, the ends AA being sharp. By means of these it can be attached to the clothing at any desired spot, the most useful position being just behind the right-hand trousers pocket, a little to the rear, so that when the right hand is dropped naturally to the side the fingers are brought against the hook and a ring either can be put on it or stolen imperceptibly from it.
