The ability to secretly learn a spectator's Astrological sign is a powerful weapon in any worker's arsenal. Adam Hudson's Star Trik offers you a well-disguised method to accomplish just that. Here's how it looks: You offer a spectator a dozen file cards, each with a different star sign that has several statements describing the characteristics of that sign. The spectator reads the card for their birth sign aloud and is mildly impressed with the accuracy of the statements. The performer then has the spectator read any other card - pointing out that all of the cards actually have the exact same statements. He goes on to explain that we all have the same basic needs to be liked, respected, etc. The performer now proceeds to give the person a brief reading before revealing the spectator's exact Astrological sign. The routine is easy to learn. Based upon a clever reworking of a subtle principle, Star Trik lets you gain the desired information without the need for impression devices, billets, or peeks. 13 pages.
