8. THE CHANGE OVER PASS
Having a watch palmed in one hand, it is necessary sometimes that you show both hands apparently empty. To do this stand with your right side to the front, the watch being held in the right thumb crotch. Show the left hand empty, holding it vertically, palm outwards, and stroke it with the right hand from the fingertips to the wrist; turn the left hand, back outwards; and begin to stroke the back, at the same time turning slowly to the right. As the right hand passes over the back of the left, both hands being now backs outwards, grip the watch with the left thumb, transferring it to the left thumb crotch as the turn to the right is completed. Turn the right hand palm outwards and stroke it from the fingertips to the wrist with the left hand. Both hands have thus been shown empty back and front.
