1. TWO SIMULTANEOUS KNOTS
Place the rope over the wrists, the hands being about twelve inches apart and the palms upwards, the elbows pressed to the side, and the arms half bent.
Turn the hands over sharply toward the body, engaging the middle of the cord and jerking the two ends of the cord over it (Fig. 1).
Seize one end in each hand, let the loops slide free over the backs of the hands, and then separate the hands. Two knots form, one to the right and one to the left.
With a little practice the action can be done with extreme rapidity.
