4. TO INTRODUCE A BALL BETWEEN TWO CUPS
Hold a ball palmed in the finger palm in the right hand; lift a cup with that hand by the rim between the thumb and forefinger and, in placing it over another cup, give the hand a slight upward jerk, at the same time releasing the ball and bringing the cup down on top of the other cup rather quickly. The ball will thus be lodged on the top of the lower cup.
