Here's what you get...
Supreme Mental Discernment - Ralph Hull
This is the Think-a-Card solution that made Ralph Hull famous and John Northern Hilliard, author of "Greater Magic," considered to be one of the finest card tricks ever invented. It is also one of the purest solutions to the premise. Hull's subtle methodology is ingenious.
Think - Six Think-a-Card Solutions - Various
Six diabolically subtle think-a-card solutions from Curry, Albright, Marlo, Thompson, Allerton, and Reneaux.
John Scarne's Think-A-Card
John Scarne took the Think-a-Card premise to another level by having not just one card mentally selected - but three! Scarne's handling which was written up by Dr. Jacob Daley is best suited to the advanced card worker.
Ultimate Al Koran Prediction Deck
For the stage magician or mentalist, Al Koran's adaptation of the Bagshawe Deck offers a very direct and streamlined Think-a-Card presentation. After some brief byplay, the performer reveals the thought of card with uncanny accuracy.
Mind Under Matter - Milbourne Christopher
After a spectator secretly writes down the name of a card he is thinking of on the back on one of your business cards, you remove a playing card from the deck and place it face down on the table. You then read aloud the card he wrote and ask him to turn over the playing card you placed down...IT IS THE CARD NAMED!
Albaka - Al Baker
A spectator is asked to merely think of ANY card in the pack. The performer looks at him for a second, and then writes something on the face of one card. Now the spectator is asked to remove his thought of card from deck. The performer names the card he wrote upon and then openly fans the deck, so the spectator can see this card with the writing on it. The spectator removes the card and written on it IS THE NAME OF HIS MENTALLY CHOSEN CARD!
The Magician's Dream - Audley Walsh
One of the earliest of the Think-a-Card effects and the forerunner to the famous Koran Prediction (or Mindreading) Deck. Spectator thinks of any card he sees in a shuffled pack and the magician then reveals it in a very dramatic manner!
The Testament of Ralph W. Hull - Capt. Trevor Hall
This book contains a wealth of sleights, routines, effects, and principles, including previously unpublished Ralph Hull material along with updates he made to some of his earlier routines, as well as an improved version of Hull's famous Name-O-Card.
The Buddha Whispers - Joseph Ovette
Joseph Ovette's clever, self-working "Think-a-Card" effect! Fifty-two cards are shuffled and spectator thinks of any card in pack. After some minor byplay, Buddha "whispers" card to performer, which he correctly names! Ovette's original routine along with Grant's clever variation (no props supplied).
Think-a-Card - Paul Curry
A second Paul Curry Think-a-Card solution. This one is from his Sealed Miracles series. A spectator merely thinks of a card and the performer, without further ado, jots down the name of the card. The spectator names his card and the performer shows what he wrote - it's the name of the thought card!
Ingenious - Jack Yates
Originally marketed as "Ingenio," a spectator is asked to merely think of any card in the deck. While he is doing this, you riffle shuffle the deck, which may be borrowed, several times. The spectator then follows some brief instructions you provide, while your back is turned. At the conclusion, you take back the cards and dramatically reveal the one he has in mind. Ingenious, self-working method.
