DESCRIPTION

Star Signs is Scottish magician Paul Brignall's triple-revelation of a playing card seemingly through the power of Astrology. It's an effect he has used to "wow" audiences for over a decade and now it can now be yours!

Here's the effect: The performer asks a spectator to examine and shuffle a blue-backed pack of cards. Spectator is also asked for her star sign, for example, she states 'AQUARIUS'. The performer explains that there is a playing card for each sign of the Zodiac and offers the spectator a choice of a card from the pack she has just examined and shuffled. She takes one and the pack is placed to one side. From his wallet (or pocket, or table), the performer brings forth a single folded magazine page which is carefully unfolded to reveal a face down, red-backed card. This 'prediction' card is placed to one side in full view. The page is seen to contain the typical traits for each Zodiac sign and for fun the performer reads out the spectator's Aquarius info. He then hands the page to spectator and asks her to read out the name of the card printed for her star sign. She reads the ‘Four of Clubs’. All the other star sign cards are different. The spectator now shows her blue-backed card...it is the Four of Clubs. The red-back prediction card, which was folded in the magazine page is turned over, it too is the Four of Clubs. What's more, it has the spectator's personal Astrological sign written on it! ALL MAY NOW BE EXAMINED and you can even give the torn magazine page to the spectator as a memento.
