Generate publicity for your magic or mentalism show by predicting a newspaper headline weeks in advance! No expensive prediction chests or other special boxes. Here's how it works. You call your local newspaper editor or event VIP and inform them that you are going to mail an envelope containing a "Prediction" of a future event. You further instruct the editor to place the prediction in his safe until the day of the show. On the day of the show the editor brings the sealed postmarked letter to the show and the editor opens the original sealed postmarked letter himself. Before opening it, the editor truthfully states to the audience that it is the original letter mailed to him, that it has been in his possession exclusively for several weeks, and that the mentalist has not touched the letter mailed to him. After it is checked to verify it has not been tampered with; the editor or VIP opens the envelope and removes a piece of paper with your prediction - it matches the headline from that day's newspaper!
